This is an extremely exclusive opportunity that we have to offer to a selection of our schools. We are recruiting 100 students to take up this VIP offer to participate in PruGOals 2018. PruGOals aims to improve the self-esteem, aspirations and educational outcomes for 16 to 18 year old disadvantaged young people across the UK. The programme will take them on an eight month journey —with the ultimate aim of taking part in Prudential’s flagship cycling event, RideLondon —a 46 mile bike ride through the beautiful city of London.

Activities take place in one of five regional hubs (London, Northwest, London Southeast, Bristol, Sheffield and Glasgow) and the 10 areas we are recruiting from will be able to travel to one of these hubs!

Participants will receive amazing benefits, such as:

  • Opportunity to build confidence and transferable skills – find aspiration within sport

  • Free VIP entry to RideLondon for all students and coaches

  • A complimentary bike and accessories for young people in the programme (Teachers and coaches can be loaned a bike if needed)

  • High quality training delivered by sports professionals such as Dame Kelly Holmes

  • Travel and accommodation all included

Participation criteria:

  • Over 16 at the time of the ride (31st July 2018)

  • Student that is on free school meals or eligible for pupil premium

  • Be able to commit to requirements and be reliable for all workshop sessions

  • Provide parent/guardian and media consent
